Abstract
- An analysis of the59Co NMR spectra of RECo2 compounds in zero and non-zero external magnetic field is presented. The proposed model is based on the assumption that the hyperfine interaction can be described by the symmetric second rank tensor. The local symmetry of the Co site enables to reduce number of the tensor components so that they can be determined from NMR data. This approach is used for the interpretation of the59Co NMR spectra and their external field dependence reported by Hirosawa and Nakamura in /1/. An agreement between the predicted and measured external field dependence of Bef was achieved.
