Comparison and performance analysis of HTS current leads

High temperature superconducting (HTS) current leads (CLs) have become suitable for practical applications. Optimization of their performance based on different techniques will be the focus for further development of the applicable HTS CLs. Different types of HTS CLs are compared and analyzed with regard to achieving better properties for practical applications, especially to reduce the thermal conductivity by introducing different sheath alloys.
