Abstract

Allergic rhinitis is a common disease with a reported prevalence ranging between 10 and 30%. It has a significant impact on the patients’ health, quality of life, and work performance. In this chapter, the pathophysiology and the classification of patients with this disease will be discussed. Further, the diagnostic tools and different treatment options will be outlined.
