Abstract

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common disease of serious mental disorders, and it is characterized by the alterations in brain functional connections. Brain network analysis is contributed to understanding the pathological mechanism of MDD. In this paper, we establish a brain network based on the structural Magnetic Resonance Imaging (sMRI) and present a dynamic evolution model of the brain network. The model uses control factors and evolution strategies to simulate the dynamic process of brain lesions of MDD. The experimental results illustrate that our evolution model captures the dynamics of the MDD, which provides a new way for exploring the pathological mechanism of MDD.
