Effect of room size and mental workload on personal space in human-robot interaction

In a laboratory experiment the influence of room size and mental workload on human comfort distance towards an industrial robot prototype is investigated. It is hypothesized that this effect is mediated through arousal / stress and perceived control over the situation.
