Abstract

In this chapter, the author discusses the occurrence and significance of near-death experiences (NDEs) in survivors of cardiac arrest and provides some biological explanation for the same. The author posits that the mass/energy of the dying person, in other words the “soul,” passes on to another parallel universe.
