Abstract
- Environmental sustainability has been a challenge in electrical energy generation plants. Many studies have been published regarding energy technology. Nevertheless, very few studies were assessing the effects of energy systems on the environment and sustainability. This article integrates economic and social tools to an application developed based on a sustainability model-this model consists of different economic, social, and environmental metrics. Integrating the new economic and social tools to the application will ensure building energy systems that are the most sustainable and ecological power plant. Using this application significantly reduces the adverse effect of power plant systems on the environment and society and helps the decision-makers to choose the optimal power plant type that is the most sustainable and environmental power plant.
