Abstract
- The infrared detector is the kernel of an infrared thermal imager. Usually it is the most expensive device. This paper describes a new infrared thermal design, based on an uncooled infrared detector with high performance and low price. It describes the specifications of the infrared detector and illustrates detailed the circuit to driver the infrared detector, include pivotal functions like TEC control and bias-voltages generation. The software to obtain image, correct non-uniformity and enhancement image is discussed also. At last, some infrared images prove the correctness of this design.
