Abstract
- The association between cannabis and psychosis has long been a matter of debate, with cannabis widely perceived as a harmless recreational drug. However, epidemiological studies have shown that cannabis use is associated with a higher risk of developing psychosis later in life. This chapter is an overview of the link between cannabis and psychosis, focusing on the nature of association, biological plausibility, and implications.
