Robust approach to speech detection

In this paper, we propose peak-valley ratio and spectral centroid frequency features, and use them as supplements to baseline system to speech detection. The two features are related to the peaks and the formant frequencies of speech spectra, which are robust to noise. Detection results also justify that the proposed two supplementary features improve the performance of baseline system.
