Abstract
- This paper proposes an implementation of image enhancement in satellite images using weighted average analysis. In this proposal the image acquired from the satellite is processed by Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and further it is processed by two different approaches. First approach is the image optimization with adaptive thresholding and performs Inverse DWT and the another approach is Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and performs Inverse DWT. Finally the attributes from the two IDWT are compared with its weighted average to obtain enhanced output image.
