Abstract

The antebrachial ulnar flap first reported by Lovie in 1984 is one of the most widely used antebrachial flaps in clinic following the antebrachial radial flap. However, it has its own disadvantages such as injury to the main antebrachial artery and ugly appearance of skin graft in the donor site which limits its clinical application. The proximal and middle ulnar perforator flaps and the distal ulnar perforator flap could be designed with its blood supply deriving from the proximal and middle perforators and the distal perforator arising from ulnar artery.
