Research on Cooperative Detection of UAV Swarms Based on MLE

Abstract
- Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarms combat is considered to be a new type of combat that will change the rules of war in the future. This study aiming at single unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to the problem of weak target detection and positioning speed, multi-machine joint maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) detection algorithm is applied to distributed UAVs swarmsing collaborative detection, established the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) cooperative detection target swarms model of the algorithm, and by setting the relevant parameters are simulated, the results prove that by increasing the number and the formation of the dispersion degree can effectively improve the target detection probability and reduce the mean square error of positioning speed.
