Abstract
- Straight-neck ‘Hyrific’ summer squash was direct seeded 6 Aug at the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station, Perkins. Plots consisted of a single row of 5 plants seeded at 3-ft intervals. Rows were separated by 5-ft alleys. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with 10 replicates. Foliar sprays were applied on 24 Aug with a CO2-powered backpack sprayer mounted with 3 TX-18 nozzles/row, calibrated to deliver 78 gal/acre at 50 psi. Efficacy was evaluated at 1, 4, and 7 DAT by counting SB nymphs on 3 randomly selected plants/plot. Data were subjected to ANOVA.
