Abstract
- Background: Malocclusion is one of the three major oral diseases, showing a high prevalence rate. There are differences in the alveolar height and inclination data of different countries and nationalities. There is no research on the height and inclination of molars and incisors of patients with Mongolian Angle Class Ⅱ skeletal malocclusion disease. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to observe the characteristics of the height and inclination of the incisor and molar of the Mongolian Angle class Ⅱ malocclusion. Methods: The program is a cross-sectional, case-control observational study, approved by the clinical research ethics committee of the hospital, and include Mongolian and non-Mongolian patients who meet the criteria in a 2:1 ratio. According to the comparison of the teeth data of patients with Mongolian Angle Class II malocclusion disease and non-Mongolian Angle Class II disease, we observe the characteristics of height and axial inclination of Mongolian Angle class Ⅱ malocclusion incisor and molar from the aspects of bone age and gender. Discussion: This study will analyze the relevant indicators of the molar and incisor height and inclination of the patient’s X-ray head positioning lateral radiograph, and obtain characteristics of the height and inclination of the incisor and molar of the Mongolian Class Ⅱ malocclusion.
