The operations completed during the course of the work:1) Creating of the computer model for calculating the transient recovery voltage at the terminals of generator circuit breakers of NPP and TPP.2) Assessment of the transient recovery voltage level on the generator circuit breaker and modeling of the main scenarios of transient recovery voltage emergence in accordance with regulatory documents.3) Calculating of the current limiting reactor RTG 10-630-0.40 based on its geometry.4) Comparison of the reactor computer modeling results in case of the parameters variation.Tools used during development included software systems Comsol Multiphysics and ATPDraw.The result of the work is the comparison of the transient recovery voltage when using a current limiting reactor created with the varying degrees of elaboration in electricity grid. The recommendations on further operations of grid sections similar to those under the study are given.
