Abstract

In the selective laser melting of Ti6Al4V powder, the parameters ensuring the required microstructure of highly porous cellular materials are determined. Experimental data regarding the melting of connectors permit specification of the conditions ensuring the formation of a stable cellular framework with complete melting of the center of the connectors and minimum longitudinal and transverse microporosity.
