Abstract
- This paper describes the efforts to implement TCN(train communication network) standardized by IEC for the Korean high speed train. The performance is measured and the problem of worst case communication latency not in data link layer but application layer is showed. In order to reduce the latency, new method is proposed and showed the enhanced performance. For the real-time control network systems like TCN, the end-to-end latency analysis and measurement is one of the most important work to be adopted in real area. In this paper, the latency measurement results are described and a new algorithm is proposed to reduce the latency.
