On the integrability of evolving membranes

We analyze an integrable sector of the space of solutions of the four dimensional (super) membrane theory, where the target space is locally Minkowskian and hence a solution of the Supergravity equations. By performing a duality transformation we relate it to the 1+1 Born-Infeld integrable equation.
