Acute Surgical Therapeutic Interventions in Stroke Patients

Surgical presence in the treatment of acute stroke patients is becoming increasingly aggressive. This article presents the current standards for stroke surgery in the acute setting, and defines those patient groups that represent appropriate candidates for such intervention.
