Experiences in a Vaginitis Clinic

To the Editor:— The article by Dr. W. R. Lang on "Experiences in a Vaginitis Clinic" inThe Journalof Dec. 3, 1960, p. 1814, makes no mention of Neisseria gonorrheae as the causative organism in any of the many hundreds of cases of vaginitis in adults. Unless gonorrhea cases were excluded from the series without mention in the article, it is indeed most unusual if N. gonorrheae were not identified by appropriate cultural methods in any of these cases.
