Abstract
- In this article, we propose a model to analyze the influence of information asynchronization on networking performance. In the proposed analytical model, we introduce the "distributed network noise" (DNN) parameter to describe information asynchronization of wavelength availability, which is caused by packet loss during the flooding procedure. We also derive the relationship between packet loss rate and DNN, as well as the relationship between DNN and blocking probability. It is shown that the experimental results agree well with the estimate values derived from our proposed analytical model.
