Abstract

(1-x)BZT - (x)BCT, for x = 0.75 composite ceramic was synthesized by solid state reaction route. The structural, dielectric, electric modulus and conductivity properties of the resulting composite have been investigated. The preliminary structural study was carried out by XRD technique and data revealed the tetragonal structure of prepared sample. The dielectric constant (e′) and the dielectric loss (e″) have been found to decrease with increase in frequency of applied electric field and shows non-Debye relaxation behavior. The electric modulus data has taken and shows an increment with increase in temperature. The electrical conductivity has been found to increase with increase in frequency of applied electric field.
