Abstract: Lithium bromide-catalyzed epoxide-carbonly rearrangement of 7,8-epoxy-7-methlenebicyclo[3.2.0]heptane derivatives gave 2,8-difunctionalized bicyclo[3.3.0]octanes in high selectivity.
