MST – CEARÁ, 20 ANOS DE MARCHA

This work wants to do a geographic and historic rescue of the twenty years of the Moviment of the Landless Rural Workers in Ceara (MST-CE), from 1989 to 2009. During this years, there were several forms of Þ ght for the spacialization and the territorialization of MST have been done in Ceara those years, through: the cons icts, the occupation of the lands, the public buildings and the avenues; the marches, the presence of militants in the federal and state settlements of several programs of agrarian reform. This text is structured in four parts. The Þ rst, Introduction, we build a little line of the time of the agrarian Þ ghts from the indians to the Þ rst occupation of the land realized by the Moviment. The second, The actions of MST-Ceara, we describe their principal activities: hiking, marches, occupation of farms and public buildings in the state. The third, Territorialization of MST in Ceara, we analyze the ways for become present, recognized and respect in Ceara. And for last, The Þ nal considerations.
