Abstract
- Analyzed is the relation of the trajectories of zones of hazardous waves in the North Atlantic to prevailing patterns of atmospheric circulation basing on the ERA-Interim reanalysis data. It is demonstrated that these trajectories depend on the combination of the phases of the North Atlantic and East Atlantic oscillations. Obtained are the characteristics of deep cyclones in the North Atlantic in winter (December–February) in 1989–2008.
