Simulation on Natural Ventilation in Double-Skin Curtain Wall

Natural ventilation and air temperature in glass curtain wall was investigated. A three dimension model of a four span, three floor building with double-skin glass curtain wall was built. Different outlet configurations and the effect on ventilation vector flow as well as temperature distribute were studied. The results show that under the condition of whole outlet area being a constant, large number outlet configuration provides better natural ventilation and stable temperature distribution.
