Abstract
- Auricular pseudocysts are an uncommon, benign cystic lesion of the auricular cartilage that most commonly occur at the triangular fossa or scapha. Few reports of bilateral cases are present in the literature. Etiology of both unilateral and bilateral auricular pseudocysts is unknown. We report a case of bilateral auricular pseudocysts presenting synchronously in a 2-month-old female. Surgical deroofing with bolstering of the auricles led to an excellent aesthetic outcome with no evidence of recurrence, and we therefore recommend this treatment for the management of bilateral auricular pseudocysts.
