Correlation function of the field between arbitrarily oriented points for a plane wave in a random medium

This paper is concerned with the correlation between arbitrarily oriented points for a plane wave propagating in a statistically homogeneous and isotropic medium. The bearing response pattern of a line array in such a medium is obtained and numerical results are presented.Subject Classification: 60.20; 30.20; 60.30.
