Abstract
- The structure and mechanical properties of novel structural high-strength cold-resistant steel 20G2SMRA are studied after quenching and tempering at different temperatures. The heat treatment mode providing combination of guaranteed yield strength σ0.2 ≥ 600 MPa with low-temperature impact toughness KCV–60 ≥ 50 J/cm2 and ductility δ5 ≥ 17% is suggested. The results of the study are to be used in commercial production as applied to mill “5000” of the “MMK” Company.
