DNA as a Nanoscale Building Material

The Watson-Crick complementarity of DNA strands that leads to their pairing into the DNA double helix, and that enables DNA to serve so effectively as genetic material, can be used for other purposes, too. This chapter describes the awesome skill of DNA to direct the assemblies of more complex DNA structural motifs than simple double, triple, or quadruple helical forms of DNA described in the introductory chapter of this book.
