Abstract: Longitudinal radiographic evaluation of skeletal maturation in 28 rhesus monkeys demonstrated that the majority of appendicular ossification centers were identified radiographically by 175 days of age and that physeal union was complete by 7.3 years in males and 7.2 years in females.
