Abstract
- The Double Pulsar (J0737‐3039) is an exceptional physical laboratory. It allows us to probe pulsar emission mechanisms, physical processes related to pulsars and General Relativity tests. In this poster we examine a mechanism where spin‐down is caused by the field lines which are open with respect to the magnetosphere. The orbital variation of the magnetosphere adds a periodic imprint to the derivative of the spin frequency of pulsar B which will be observed as a higher order correction on the phase. This modulation can be used to provide information for clearing the signal received from Pulsar B from the noise which is essential for high precision General Relativity tests. We also evaluate the magnetic field of Pulsar B and the shape of the boundary.
