Abstract
- We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel type of multiplexed off-plane computer-generated waveguide hologram, using two interlaced subarrays of waveguide gratings with orthogonal grooves. Two spot arrays can be independently produced at different deflection angles, and they can be focused at different focal lengths above the waveguide. Electron-beam lithography and reactive ion-beam etching (RIBE) were used in fabricating this device. The uniformity error of the spot arrays was measured to be approximately 10%.
