Abstract

In this study, the composite of pre-reservoirs system was designed and to explored the removal of suspended particles (SS) in the non-point sources pollution. The operating parameter (residence time) was investigated its effect on the SS removal, and the particle size distribution of effluent was analysis. The results showed that this system could remove the SS with high efficiency. When the residence time was 24hrs, SS could remove over 90%.
