Abstract
- Automated vehicles have drawn great attention in research and industry, due to their potential benefits in driving without passengers. Using computer simulation in motion and speed control of the vehicles can reduce errors and costs. Fuzzy logic provides a different way for issues that need to be controlled. This method is concentrated on what the system should do, not on how the works are done. Using fuzzy logic is simple and easily able to solve complex issues, which are not solvable with ordinary mathematical methods, in a less time. This logic acts as an expert's knowledge. In this article in order to control a machine without passengers it is proposed to use steering wheel control and pressing the accelerator pedal to get to the destination of a fuzzy controller so that the machine is able to make decisions and find the right path while getting close to the obstacles.
