P-49: New Architecture of Timing Controller and Source Driver for TFT LCD Module Using Point-to-Point TTL Transmission Interface

This paper describes novel Point-to-Point TTL (PPTTL™) architecture between timing controller and source driver ICs. The application of PPTTL will be verified 15.4″ WXGA prototype TFT LCD panel with 2layer PCB layout. The advantage of PPTTL includes low cost, low power consumption, and low EMI radiation ect. Also PPTTL is suitable for COG package even large size panel.
