Practices for the Construction of Innovation Capacity Base on the Structural Organization Capital

Abstract
- This paper aims to explain the main practices oriented by the organizational capital of companies whose purpose is to promote innovation processes, especially with a collaborative emphasis. To this end, a review of success stories published in the Harvard Business For Educators database on the open innovation topic was made, where 273 studies were identified distributed among scientific articles and organizational cases. Of the total, 38 contained practices directly focused on organizational capital and from there they were processed and characterized in 2 groups called activities oriented to innovation and strategies, policies and resources for innovation. In total 44 practices applied in organizations from different economic sectors and geographical locations are described. The results show initiatives oriented to strategic processes, policy creation, and innovation project management, physical and technological infrastructure aimed at supporting innovation processes as well as financing and the source of resources in the management of innovation projects in companies.
