Abstract

The most common locations of arterial occlusive disease in the upper extremities include: 1. In the aortic arch arteries, directly at the ostium (Fig. 35.1) 2. Distal of the latter, before the branching of the vertebral artery (Figs. 35.2 and Fig 35.3) 3. Distal of the vertebral artery, close to the costoclavicular narrowing (Fig. 35.4).
