Abstract

Some spacecraft components with special functions need to be tested the performance of unlocking and deploying in thermal vacuum tests. Such products not only have strict requirements on the mechanical interface of the fixture, but also sometimes need to simulate the temperature boundary of the installation interface. It means that, the temperature of the fixture can be controlled precisely. According to the test requirements of a typical component, the paper proposes a fixture design concept suitable for this type of products and a method is obtained that assess the cooling capacity of the fixture. At the same time, in order to eliminate the impact of thermal radiation from the product on the temperature control of the fixture, measure to enhance the cooling capacity of fixture unit are summarized, which are proved to be effective through simulation verification and guarantee the success of the test.
