Abstract
- The power–law constitutive relation suitable for the frictional materials with cohesion is given, by applying the Lade's Mode and the associative flow rule. Under plane–strain condition, the crack–tip stress and deformation fields for the material are obtained. These fields are of the H.R.R type and the J–integral introduced by Rice is path–independent in the problem. The field distribution depends on the friction coefficent μ. These results provide the basis for the design of engineering structrues.
