According to FM Abramovich (Doctor. Delo, 1926, No. 12-13), syphilitic lesions of the lungs in adults are not as rare as it is usually thought, and they can occur in two forms: more rarely, in the form of gummy lesions, more often in the form of interstitial pneumonia with peribronchitis and perivasculitis.
