Abstract
- Raman-active phonons are completely assigned for RFe4P12 and ROs4Sb12 ( R = La , Ce, Pr and Nd) at 300 K. Normal mode analysis concludes that the force constant between rare-earth and pnictogen at icosahedron is strong compared with other rare-earth compounds. This is the experimental evidence to support the strong hybridization effect in the filled skutterudite.
