Abstract
- Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSN) comprise of small sized sensors with limited energy. Due to mobility their energy drains even faster than static WSNs. Clustering is a technique used for conserving of energy in MWSNs. This work presents an improved cluster head election mechanism which minimizes number of time CH election takes place in a MWSN. Further with this technique chances of cluster left unattended by cluster head also gets reduced, thereby improving data flow in MWSNs.
