Abstract

1. 1. Extracts of the hepatopancreas from sinus glandless and from control crayfish do not show any significant differences in their alkaline phosphotase activities. 2. 2. In both groups the alkaline phosphatase activity increases over a period of captivity of 21 days. 3. 3. Histochemically alkaline phosphotase appeared uniquely in the brush border of the rest cells and absorption cells, and around the vacuoles in B-cells.
