Abstract
- Inelastic neutron scattering has been used to study the vibrational excitations of SixGe1−x crystals. Measurements on time-of-flight and triple-axis spectrometers are reported. Local and resonant modes are observed. A strong broadening at high wave vectors is found for some TA-modes.
