Abstract
- These papers present the propose of a double layer slot array antenna at microwave frequency range K-band in gap waveguide technology. Gap waveguide technology is a solution to reduce the performance gap between planar transmission lines and metal waveguide in terms of loss, manufacturing flexibility and cost. The antenna was considered in two layers separately using CST microwave studio. Here minimization of reflection coefficient, maximized gain, high efficiency and wide bandwidth. The simulated impedance bandwidth is 20% for a 4×4 element array antenna.
