Abstract
- This paper presents a foldable Tightly Coupled Dipole Array (TCDA) implemented on a Miura-Ori pattern. This array achieves a wide broadside bandwidth of 5.4:1 (viz. 1.14 GHz – 6.16 GHz) with $\text{VSWR} . This paper is the first to show the foldability of a Miura patterned TCDA using standard printed circuit board (PCB) substrates and practical feeds. A simple differential pair of conventional $50-\Omega$ coax cables are included, with low profile snap-on connectors to enable foldability.
