New approach of traffic limitation management on local networks

Given the growing demands for network services based sometimes on reduced resources, efficient solutions are continuously developed in order to operate the network infrastructures in optimum conditions. From network management viewpoint, the main challenge is related to traffic management solutions using data flow limitations for some specific users while giving higher priorities to others. If for an internet user the bandwidth traffic limitation management is not a problem being managed by routers, in LAN/MAN corporation cases, this becomes more difficult when the control is to be applied out off routers management area. More, for different levels of users' hierarchy often particular QoS parameters are necessary regardless of the involved machines.
