Abstract

A description is given of the Kosters hardware and software facility for recording and processing arrays of video data when measuring gauge blocks of up to 100 mm in length using a Kosters interferometer. It is shown that when using the Kosters hardware and software facility the standard uncertainty of a result of measuring the lengths of gauge blocks is smaller than a few nanometers.
